Bilal Ahmad Mir from central Kashmir’s Budgam district has made the state proud by winning a gold medal at the 4th International Karate-Kick Boxing Championship-2018 held at Ahmedabad Gujarat.
In the summit clash Bilal defeated his opponent from Bhutan. Players from seven countries had participated in the championship.
Speaking about his performance jubilant Mir said “I am happy after winning the gold medal. I had been practicing very hard for last one year, a delighted teenager said after his achievement.
His coach Tajamul also expressed his happiness after the win.
