The district administration here has decided to distribute two lakh masks among people belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL).An official said on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal a committee has roped in district industrial unit, KVIB, local entrepreneurs and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for production of the masks.
ACR Ganderbal, Syed Baseer Ahmed said so far 20,000 masks have been procured and most of them have been distributed.The DC chaired a meeting in this regard to discuss the progress of production and distribution of masks in light of government order for universal usage of masks.
