Community warriors are the need of the hour and there is no bigger warrior than women.

Community warriors are the need of the hour and there is no bigger warrior than women. Women fight every day with things we do not know about and yet always work towards helping others. No matter what the situation is, women are always ready to help and contribute in whichever way possible.
As wearing a face mask is mandatory while stepping out of the house, women self-help group under UMEED have crafted over 5.14 lakh face masks in 22 days. These face masks will help meet the demand and help reach to everyone. Face mask plays an important role in protecting ourselves and others from the virus and these members have emerged as Community warriors working round the clock to help fight COVID-19 spread.
As everyone is contributing in every way possible to fight the virus together, let us all stay at our homes as much as possible, maintain social distance, and not let their efforts and hard work go to waste.
