Dr Sheikh Shoib Kashmir Doctor Bags International World Psychiatric Fellowship

A medico from from JLNM hospital Srinagar Dr Sheikh Shoib has bagged International World psychiatric fellowship award 2021.
According to a press note, Dr Sheikh Shoib has been awarded the WPA fellowship award by the 2021 World Congress of Psychiatry.
The panel included Dr Norman Sartorius NYU, Dr Danuta Wasserman Karolinska University, Dr Afzal Jawed WPA President, Dr Peter Mazaroff.
This is the highest award for Early Career Psychiatrists, the assessment is done on basis of research, academic standing, the press note said. This is the first instance of a doctor from Kashmir working with directorate health services being awarded such an honor.This is the second international award Dr Sheikh has received. Earlier in 2017 he was awarded the young psychiatrist award for best oral presentation at the 2020 Taiwanese conference
Dr Sheikh Shoib is currently working as consultant psychiatrist in JLNM hospital andhas been awarded Psychiatrist Fellowship Award by world psychiatry association.
Dr Sheikh Shoib has published scores of publications in national and international journals .
