IUST scholar Asifa Nazir from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been chosen for Women in Science and Engineering-PhD (WISE-PhD) fellowship.
The scholar is pursuing her Phd under Dr Ahsan Hussain, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Notably, Asifa Nazir is the only scholar selected from the Kashmir Valley from the Engineering and Technology domain.
Er Sajad Ahmad Lone, HoD, CSE, congratulated the scholar on getting the fellowship. WISE fellowship, under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), provides support to highly motivated women researchers to pursue PhD in Basic and Applied Sciences.
