Rasikh Salam Dar Fetches INR 6 Crore in IPL 2025 Auction

Rasikh Salam Dar, a talented fast bowler from Jammu and Kashmir, made headlines during the IPL 2025 mega auction when he was bought by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for a whopping INR 6 crore.

The 21-year-old has been a part of the IPL since 2019, playing for teams like Mumbai Indians (MI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Delhi Capitals (DC). Despite limited opportunities, Dar has shown glimpses of his potential, taking nine wickets in eight IPL matches.

Dar’s journey in domestic cricket has also been noteworthy. He is known for his pace and ability to generate bounce, which has made him a promising talent in Indian cricket.

His IPL career started with Mumbai Indians, but he later moved to Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals, where he struggled for consistent playing time.

The significant bid for Dar in the 2025 auction reflects the growing interest in uncapped Indian players with potential, as franchises look to invest in young, raw talent. His move to RCB signals confidence in his abilities, and he will be hoping to make a strong impact in the upcoming IPL season.
