Youth Services & Sports holds Girls’ Chess Competition

The Youth Services and Sports Department, Zone Dangerpora, Saturday conducted a Chess competition for girls under the age categories of 14 and 17. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools across the zone.

Students displayed remarkable skill and sportsmanship throughout the competition. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the young minds battled it out on the chessboard, showcasing strategic thinking and mental agility. The Convener of Chess, Hassan, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of sports in overall personality development. He encouraged students to continue participating in such activities for their holistic growth. Hassan also urged the officials to maintain transparency and make decisions with fairness and honesty.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners were felicitated for their outstanding performances. The Youth Services and Sports Department expressed gratitude to all participating schools, officials, and Principal Higher Secondary Batingo for making the event a grand success.
