J&K’s Danish Manzoor Shines with Bronze Medal in International Taekwondo Meet

Danish Manzoor, a talented young Taekwondo player from Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, won a bronze medal for India at the 13th Elite Cup International Taekwondo Championship held in Amman, Jordan, from August 21 to 24. The championship, organized by the Jordan National Taekwondo Federation, featured elite international athletes and Olympic hopefuls from across the Middle East.

Before the event, Danish participated in an international Taekwondo training camp from August 6 to 20, under Coach Ayman Alhusami, of the Jordan Olympic Team, with the support of the J&K Taekwondo Association.

Danish credited his success to his mentor Master Atul Pangotra and expressed gratitude to his family and supporters, dedicating the medal to them and the nation. The entire campaign was sponsored by the HELP Foundation.

Nuzhat Gul, Secretary, J&K Sports Council, and the President of the J&K Taekwondo Association congratulated Danish for his remarkable achievement, which has brought pride to both Jammu and Kashmir and India.
