Healthcare Outreach: Free Medical Camp Held at Mantrigram School in Bandipora

In a humanitarian outreach initiative aimed at promoting healthcare and community welfare, the Indian Army in collaboration with the District Administration Bandipora on Sunday organised a free medical camp at Govt. Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Mantrigram, Bandipora, with support from ASG Eye Hospital and Paras Hospitals.

The camp witnessed overwhelming participation from local residents, including women, elderly persons, and children, who availed various healthcare facilities provided during the programme.

A team of doctors and medical staff conducted general health consultations and provided specialist medical advice to patients suffering from different ailments.

During the camp, blood pressure and blood sugar tests were conducted free of cost, while essential medicines were also distributed among the beneficiaries.

Registration counters and consultation desks were established to ensure smooth management and timely medical assistance to the attendees.

The initiative also carried awareness messages under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, encouraging people to stay away from drug abuse and adopt healthy lifestyles.

On the occasion, locals appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army, District Administration Bandipora, ASG Eye Hospital and Paras Hospitals for organising the camp and extending healthcare support to the people of the area.
