Gopi Singh Rathore Army Goodwill School Bandipora Celeberated World Ozone Day. The activities that were held to celebrate this day
Debate competition and drawing competition. Almost 28 students, including both boys and girls from different classes, participated in the above-mentioned activities. The event was attended by all the students of our school, the whole staff and the principal of the school.
Outcome: This day was celebrated in order to make the students realize the importance of the ozone layer. Students became aware of different things that cause ozone depletion and other problems related to that. This event was organized with an aim to create awareness among the students so that they too can play their role in protecting the ozone layer.
Students were advised to make their family members aware of the protection of ozone and its depletion. Besides, students got an opportunity to show their talents by participating in the above-mentioned activities. At the end, the best performers of both the above-mentioned competition were felicitated. They received awards and certificates from the principal of the school.
