J&K Junior Kickboxing team excels in Nationals

Jammu & Kashmir’s Junior Kickboxing team delivered an impressive performance at the WAKO India Junior National Kickboxing Championship 2025, held in Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

A nine-member team, coached by Sudarshan Singh and Irfan Choudhary, secured a total of seven medals. Muskan Sharma won the gold medal, Mohd Hashim claimed silver, while Akshara Bhagat, Rudransh Verma, Gurubaksh and Abhishek Singh earned bronze medals.

On their return, the team was warmly welcomed by Abhishek Jain, General Secretary of Kickboxing Association J&K and Gourav Chopra, Vice President of KAJK. Both officials praised the players for their dedication and success, highlighting the growing stature of kickboxing in the region.
