Khilanmarg is a popular picnic spot of Baramula, situated in Gulmarg. The surroundings of this place comprise dense forests and secluded valleys. Its meadows display a carpet of large number of colors and species of flowers. Its main tourist spot is a valley lying at 600 m ascent of Gulmarg. It is also an ideal spot for panoramic views of Kashmir Valley and Himalayan ranges.
