NGOs are the backbone that keeps supporting and helping the people in need at all times. One such NGO based out Srinagar is a charity organization that has since its inception, focused on six areas of need – medical and education support, monthly household support to families whose male members have been left physically challenged and are unable to work, empowerment schemes, marriage help for girls. Alongside this, they have donated 6 ventilators to CD hospital to help fight the COVID-19 virus. They have also distributed about 10,000 surgical masks, 100-virus protection kits, 100 N95 masks, 300 hand sanitizers, 500 disposable items, and 500 extra hand gloves to doctors, patients, attendants, and paramedical at a different hospital in Srinagar, along with providing ambulance, nebulizers, and oxygen concentration machines free of cost to poor. Philanthropic work like these continues to motivate us to help everyone in society & together to fight all kinds of situations and emerge victoriously.
