District Administration Kulgam, in collaboration with Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), on Thursday organized a Unity March at Kulgam to celebrate the vision of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and to promote the spirit of unity and national integration.
The March was jointly flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan and SSP Kulgam, Anayat Ali Choudhary, from Mini Secretariat and culminated at DPL Kulgam.
The event witnessed massive participation of students, locals, officers, and officials from the civil and police administration, showcasing a collective commitment to national integration, unity, and internal security.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner administered the Unity Pledge to the participants, underscoring dedication to the ideals of peace, harmony, and national solidarity.
The role and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in uniting the nation was also highlighted during the event.
