IUST’s ECE dept hosts school outreach session

IUST’s Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organised a hands-on outreach session under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), reinforcing the university’s commitment to rural engagement and STEM education.

As part of the initiative, students from Government Boys High School, Padgampora visited the campus and participated in interactive demonstrations at the Electronics Laboratory. The sessions, conducted by Dr. Romana Yousuf, Dr. Shaiqa Nasreen, Dr. Asif Bashir, Dr. Issmat S. Masoodi, and Ms. Safeena Rasool, introduced basic electronics concepts through simple experiments.

The program aimed to spark curiosity and foster early interest in STEM fields among school students, aligning with the university’s broader outreach and UBA objectives. The visit was well-received by both students and teachers, who valued the opportunity for practical learning in a university environment.
