The Jammu & Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) will conduct selection trials for the Junior J&K-UT Taekwondo teams on October 23, at the Taekwondo Training Centre, M.A Stadium, Jammu.
The trials are being conducted for the upcoming 42nd National Kyorugi and 15th National Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championships, scheduled to take place from October 31 to November 2 at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru. The selection committee comprises Convenor Amit Kumar (National Coach/ Player/Referee), Organizing Secretary Anuj Sharma (Joint Secretary, JKTA), and members Chandeep Singh (International Player) and Dushyant Kapta (National Player), who will oversee a fair and merit-based selection process.
The official weigh-in will be held on October 22, while the trials will run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on October 23. Required documents include a Black Belt Certificate, Medical Fitness Certificate, Domicile and Date of Birth Certificates, Aadhar Card, JKTA Athlete License and passport-size photographs.
