J&K Educator Joins Indian Delegation at Global Early Childhood Forum

A distinguished delegation of 34 educators from India, led by Dr Swati Popat Vats, President of the Early Childhood Association (ECA), participated in the prestigious World Forum Foundation conference on Early Care and Education held in Kuala Lumpur.Representing the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, Kaiser Bhat, Territory Head (J&K) for ECA, joined the national delegation to contribute to global dialogues on the future of early childhood education.

The conference was formally inaugurated by His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Crown Prince of Selangor, underscoring the international significance of the event and the global commitment to strengthening early years education frameworks.

The participation of the Indian delegation reflected not only academic engagement at an international level but also a powerful cultural representation. Delegates emphasized the importance of integrating local traditions, indigenous learning approaches, and community values within global educational discourse—highlighting how culturally rooted practices can enrich early childhood pedagogy worldwide.
