The School of Agri-Economics and Horti-business Management (SAE&HBM) at SKUAST Shalimar witnessed a vibrant culmination of series of four one-day Entrepreneurship Development Programmes on Accounting for farm w.e.f 23-30 Jan, 2024. The event was attended by Dr. S.H. Baba (Head SAE&HBM); Dr F.A.Shaheen (Assoc. Prof. SAE&HBM); Dr. Zuhaib Bazaz (Asstt. Prof., GWC, Nawakadal); Dr. Omar Fayaz Khan (Asstt. Prof. SAE&HBM); Dr M.A.Lone (Asstt. Prof., Directorate of P&M); Mr Tufail Ahmad Beigh and Mr. Bilal Ahmad Rather (NITians& Career Institute; and Mr Salim Mir & Ms. Fajr Dhar (Commerce Guru, Srinagar) besides trainees from diverse institutes like Commerce Guru, Srinagar, GDC Nawakadal, Kashmir University, IGNOU, SKUAST Kashmir, NITians & Career Institute etc. Prof. S.H. Baba (Head, SAE&HBM) highlighted the need of such programs in sensitizing future agri-entrepreneurs. He emphasized the significance of these in bridging the gap between academia and institutions, empowering participants to innovate Business ideas in sunrise industries. He highlighted the critical role of such programs in fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among the participants.
Dr. Zuhaib Bazaz (Asstt. Prof., GWC, Nawakadal) proposed a vote of thanks, and expressed gratitude to SKUAST-Kashmir and all stakeholders including collaborative partners for their unwavering support in making the EDPs a resounding success.
