Indian Army organises Volleyball Tournament in Rajouri

The Indian Army organised an Inter Club Volleyball Tournament in Rajouri as part of the celebrations leading up to Rajouri Day 2026 under Operation Sadbhavana.


The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from eight men’s teams, who competed in knockout pool matches, semi-finals and a closely contested final. In addition, two women’s teams played an energetic final match, reflecting the growing involvement of women in sports.


The tournament served as an effective platform for youth engagement, promoting discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship among participants. It also highlighted the Indian Army’s continued commitment to nation-building and empowering youth through constructive activities.
