Tasneem Kabir Dar of Chontipora Mawer, Langate, in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district secured the 4th rank overall and 2nd rank among Kashmiris in the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (JKAS) 2023
This achievement in her first attempt underscores her academic excellence and unwavering dedication.
A graduate with Honours in English from Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW), Delhi University, Tasneem did her LLB from the Campus Law Centre of Delhi University.
She had philosophy as an optional subject in the JKAS.
This year, of the 266 candidates shortlisted for interviews, only 71 were recommended based on their aggregate merit.
Her friends and family members have expressed pride in her accomplishment, viewing it as a significant milestone not only for Tasneem but for the region as a whole.
