The Jammu & Kashmir Sub Junior Roll Ball teams were screened and flagged off by Arshi Nad, Manager, Indoor Sports Complex, for participation in the 18th Sub Junior Roll Ball National Championship 2025, scheduled to be held from October 25 to 28 at Agra (UP).
A 27-member contingent, including both Boys and Girls teams, will represent Jammu & Kashmir in the prestigious national event. The ceremony was attended by officials, coaches and sports enthusiasts who extended best wishes to the young athletes.
The Boys Team, led by Captain Harshaan Singh, includes Janav Paul Singh, Mohd. Ibrahim Pindoo, Divyansh Kandroo, Mavis Kanethia, Laksh Kangotra, Astitva Choudhary, Arindham Gupta, Gourav Pandey, Yashit Mahajan, Yuvan Gandotra and Manan Khajuria, under Chief Coach Mohd. Ashraf Dijoo and Harish Nanda. The Girls Team, captained by Qurat Ul Ain, features Qubrah Parveez, Arushma Mir, Areeba Mir, Meera Verma, Ebrah Jahan, Urwah Sajjad, Harshita Saini, Dhwani Nanda, Arshita Singh, and Shahzadi Eleeza, trained by Chief Coach Suresh Kumar and Coach Ashia Yaseen.
Players and parents expressed gratitude to the J&K Sports Council and the Roll Ball Association of J&K for their support, as the teams aim to bring laurels to the Union Territory.
