The District Kulgam Carrom Championship 2025-26 was declared open at the Indoor Sports Complex, Quimoh Kulgam on Tuesday.
As per a statement issued here, the championship was thrown open by Bashir Ahmad, Manager Indoor Sports Complex in the presence of Arif Sultan Khan, Treasurer J&K Carrom Association, Gowhar Ahmad, Joint Secretary District Kulgam Carrom Association, and other dignitaries and members of the District Carrom Association Kulgam and J&K Carrom Association.
The championship, organized under the initiative “My Youth My Pride” of the J&K Sports Council, witnessed enthusiastic participation with around 90 players competing across four different categories. The J&K Carrom Association, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, remains committed to promoting the game of carrom and will continue to organize district-level events across the Union Territory. Players and enthusiasts are advised to stay in touch with the Association for upcoming activities and opportunities.
