World Health Organisation (WHO) had invited proposals for World Hearing Day celebrations from across the globe.

World Hearing Forum under the aegis of the World Health Organisation (WHO) had invited proposals for World Hearing Day celebrations from across the globe. Over 151 proposals were received by the WHO and proposal from the Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College Srinagar was selected among 20 others to receive a grant of 800 USD. WHO has also presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the GMC on the successful completion of a series of activities. The activities include lecture sessions, quiz, screening of school children and poster competition. Making a name at the International Level, the students have surely increased the name of GMC Srinagar. The efforts of the team are truly commendable and have made everyone proud through their hard work.
